The Louisiana Association of Teachers of Mathematics (LATM) and the Louisiana Science Teachers Association (LSTA) invite you to attend, present a session and/or exhibit during our 2025 Joint Conference in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, November  6th - 7th at the Raising Cane's Baton Rouge River Center.  We expect approximately 700 formal and informal math and science educators and administrators from pre-K through college levels to attend.

The annual conference provides professional development and networking opportunities for all math and science educators throughout the state of Louisiana.  Scroll down below to learn more about the conference.

  • General Registration Information
  • Participant registration is now open through the 2025 LSTA/LATM Joint Conference Registration Form.  When registering, participants will be able to pay by credit card.  If you wish to pay by check, please complete the online registration form, print the form, and submit it along with your payment to the payment address below.

    Early-bird conference registration is now open!

    The conference registration fee covers:

    1. full access to the exhibits in the during the conference
    2. access to 1 hr. math and science professional development sessions all day Thursday and half a day on Friday
    3. box lunch on Thursday, November 6th
    4. full-year memberships to both LSTA and LATM

Proposals are currently being accepted to present 50-minute concurrent sessions at the LATM/LSTA Conference to be held in Baton Rouge on November 6-7, 2025.

The Lead Presenter and Co-presenter(s) listed in the proposal must be registered for the conference by the Early Bird Deadline (Friday, September 26, 2025).

  • LSTA Travel Grants  
    LSTA is awarding 10 travel grants for $400 each to offset the expense of attending the LATM/LSTA 2025 Joint Conference in Baton Rouge, LA .  The money can be used to cover conference registration, short course registration, lodging, meals, parking, or travel.  Grant applicants will be notified of their status at least three weeks prior to the conference.  The money will be reimbursed following the conference.  Order of receipt or geographic location will not necessarily be considered in the awarding of the travel grants.  Applicants must be current LSTA members on or before August 1, 2025.  Applications must be postmarked no later than August 31, 2025.
  • LATM Travel Grants 
    The Louisiana Association of Teachers of Mathematics is awarding up to $3000 in travel grants with each grant awarded worth up to $500 to offset the expense of attending its 2025 LATM/LSTA Joint Math and Science Conference in Baton Rouge, November 6-7, 2025. The money can be used to cover conference registration, lodging, meals, parking, and/or travel. Recipients will be notified of their award on September 11, 2025.  The money will be awarded at the conclusion of the conference. There are two types of grants are offered: attendees and presenters. 
    Deadline: Tuesday, September 2, 2025
