Coffee Talks are one-hour informal virtual gatherings for professional discussion of science teachings open to LSTA members.  Coffee Talks are available to current members only .

Agenda:

• Short (~15 minute) introduction about a topic
• Moderated conversations sharing questions, resources, and strategies about effective science teaching

Learning from other teachers, talking together about standards, and student work, and sharing ideas is the most powerful way for teachers to grow. Coffee Talks provide these opportunities, and allow teachers to make connections with colleagues that can extend beyond the hour long sessions, and develop a community of great practitioners.
