Scholarship Opportunities for AP Computer Science Students.
The College Board has teamed up with industry leaders such as Amazon, Facebook, and Google to alert students of summer apprenticeships and scholarships utilizing existing AP program accounts. Students are already receiving these email messages. If interested, they should simply follow the links in the announcements to apply.
Amazon is offering a scholarship for high school seniors that have completed an advanced placement computer science course or who have taken a computer science test and plan to attend college majoring in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, or other computer related fields of study. Science Camp Opportunity for Graduating Seniors.
The National Youth Science Camp (NYSCamp) is a residential science education program available to STEM enthusiasts graduating between July 1, 2019 and June 30, 2020. Students from around the country are challenged academically in exciting lectures and hands-on studies. Two students are selected to represent each state and Washington, D.C. at no cost to the students, schools, or districts. There are also optional opportunities to participate in an outdoor adventure program, gain a new and deep appreciation for the great outdoors, and establish friendships that last a lifetime.
